How do I transfer Windows Mail messages from one computer to a new ...
1) New computer is Windows 7 64bit and I have Microsoft Office 2010 Professional Plus installed. Of course Outlook 2010 is one of the programs. 2) I also have Windows Live Mail installed on the same computer in order to import email messages 3) Old computer is Vista 32bit and I was using Windows Mail (not Windows Live mail).

I can quickly search my sub-categories for the entry I need and when I double-click the file - hey presto! - a window pops up containing a fully functioning record of my contact, just as it did in Windows Contacts. I find it incredibly amateurish to remove one program and replace it with another without the ability to transfer data.

Office installs, but it doesnt run when trying to open one of the applications like outlook. I followed another guidance given on this site and went to msconfig.exe and disabled the microsoft services and clicked on Loed Startup Items.
